Barcelona is not going through its best moment. After the departure of Ernesto Valverde due to the poor results of the last matches, the public cross came between Lionel Messi and Eric Abidal, technical secretary of the club, and the subsequent elimination of the Copa del Rey against Athletic Bilbao.

But the Catalan team wants to leave the crisis behind and for that it will visit one of Messi's favorite stadiums: Benito Villamarín, where he will face Betis for the 23rd round of the League.

Why is it one of Leo's favorite courts? La Pulga visited that field eight times for the local tournament and in total scored nine goals. That is, it has an average of more than one goal per game.

In the last two visits by the League, Leo scored five goals : two in the 2017/2018 season and three in the last, 2018/2019.

So incredible was his performance in the last commitment, that even the local public stood up to cheer him after his third goal, a petroleum jelly for the memory.

In addition, in that same field but in 2012, the 10 surpassed the record of goals in a same year, when passing the 85 of Gerd Müller. Finally that year ended with the astronomical figure of 91 goals.

Against Betis, for the League, Messi played 19 games, converted 19 goals (an average of one goal per game) and added seven assists.

Of those meetings, Barcelona won 14, drew four and lost only one. But, to keep in mind: in Villamarín, with Leo on the court, he never lost.
