Minnesota United redoubled the offer to take the Cordovan. Ameal and Riquelme ask for more, but the doors are not closed.

The League of the United States is the great threat to the Super League teams. And it is because from the MLS they changed their incorporation policy for a few years and went from hiring declining stars to keep the young promises of world football. And in that 2020 they accentuated that concept.

In addition to taking Pavón (LA Galaxy), Matías Pellegrini and Julián Carranza (both to Inter Miami) months ago, the pass market that started yesterday is a problem for Argentine teams because it will just close on May 5, when The Super League has been left behind, the Super League Cup is yet to be defined and the group stage of the Copa Libertadores is advanced.

In the last week, by case, MLS representatives met with Boca executives to bring proposals by two players. One was by Agustín Almendra, for which they agreed to continue talking and there may be news next week. The other one targeted was Emanuel Bebelo Reynoso , whom they are looking for from Minnesota United. From the La Ribera Club Soccer Council they warned that they are not willing to negotiate the player on loan, but the MLS franchise prepares an offer that includes a charge (less than 1.5 million dollars) to be taken as assigned to the player and sign a purchase obligation in June.

Boca intends at least 8 million dollars for 70 percent of Reynoso's pass, but Minnesota says it will only stretch up to 5 million to buy the entire record. It is difficult to prosper, although they have something in favor: time. The competition may mark the participation of Reynoso in the Miguel Russo team (for now it was a substitute in all games) and until May conditions may change. In favor of the teams is the currency (the dollar for soccer players is much more tempting despite receiving a lower salary than here) and also the chance to jump from there to another destination. They have the restrictions that the League itself imposes on them: in most cases they cannot invest extraordinary figures for players that are not considered franchises.

Not only in Boca there are risks with the American league. In the last hours, from Chicago Fire they advanced in the hiring of Gastón Giménez , one of the best soccer players of Vélez de Gabriel Heinze. The midfielder's operation would be around 4.5 million dollars but the MLS team will only have it available in March, with the Super League finalized. Atlanta United, for instance, took a loan to Manuel Castro from Estudiantes de La Plata.

From Los Angeles Galaxy, meanwhile, they offered 2.5 percent of Alan Franco's record. For Independiente, that proposal proved insufficient, but the transfer door was not closed for the next few weeks. In Avellaneda, in this same pass market, they had already transferred Nicolás Figal for $ 3 million to Inter Miami. In the end, one more of the list of players who seduce from that great threat that became the MLS for the Argentine teams.
