Blue and White chairman gave a series of interviews to the media, repeatedly avoiding answering the issue • Gantz agreed to pledge only that the joint list would not be an official part of his government • On Netanyahu: "He ended his historic role without him being a unity government"

Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz continues to evade the question of whether he will be ready to form a government with the support of the joint list. In a Saturday evening interview for Channel 12 news, the former chief of staff claimed that blue and white "will be the biggest party."

"We can form a unity government or a blue-and-white government," Gantz continued. "The Likud with Bibi cannot form a government, and without Bibi there is unity. However, as he said, he refused to pledge not to rely on the support of the joint list to form a minority government. "Netanyahu has ended his historic role. He is going to go to trial. Imagine what it would look like if the chief of staff needed him for urgent conversation the night before a court hearing," Gantz continued, attacking the prime minister.

Gantz also referred to the Fifth Dimension affair, saying he did not object to the investigation, because he said his actions had not been faulty. "I have no problem investigating the case. We had a successful pilot with the government that did not go on," he added, "I am a straight man. There are no three indictments in front of me.
