Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that the victory over terrorism in Idlib is imperative and that the agreements on the de-escalation zone there do not mean stopping combating terrorist organizations.
Lavrov said during his speech to the fifty-sixth security conference held in Munich, Germany today, "The Russian-Turkish agreements on stopping the escalation in Idlib do not in any way require abandoning the fight against the terrorist threat unabated", stressing the importance of eliminating armed organizations in the last strongholds of terrorism and the first "Front" Al-Nusra is the “terrorist” or what is now called the “Headquarters for the Liberation of Al-Sham”.
Lavrov indicated that the agreements on Idlib include a range of issues, but their achievement is complicated and one of the reasons for this is the use of civilian terrorists in Idlib as human shields.
