(CNN Spanish) - They celebrated in Lima the first mass marriage organized by the municipality of the Peruvian capital. On Friday, February 14, more than 100 couples (exactly 109) married who arrived at the ceremony on bicycles adorned with flowers.
Among them Bartolomé Malimba and María Llacsa, who have 5 children and 28 grandchildren, have lived together for 50 years and took the opportunity to formalize their union ... thanks to the initiative of one of their children who asked them to marry.
Patrick Codina and Karolyn Sandoval is the youngest married couple, both 20 years old. They took the opportunity because the place chosen is "beautiful and the date will never be forgotten." Their plans are to continue studying and working, later they will think about being parents.
