A nine-year-old boy was injured Saturday by a bullet fired by police in Issawiya, East Jerusalem. During a police operation in the neighborhood, police used means of dispersing demonstrations, as a result of which he was injured by Al-Isa. His family brought him to Hadassah Mount Scopus near the neighborhood, and from there he goes to Hadassah Ein Kerem, suffering severe injuries to his face and head. Police said the circumstances of the case are being investigated.
Tensions have recently intensified in East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip following the publication of Donald Trump's peace plan. Yesterday, an IDF soldier was lightly wounded in stone throwing during a separation order in the village of Budrus near Ramallah. The soldier received medical treatment in the area and was evacuated to the hospital by medical personnel.
