Two rockets were launched Saturday evening from the Gaza Strip in the direction of Eshkol Regional Council, and fell in open territory. As a result of the launches, no damage was done and no injuries were reported. The regional council said "there is one blast far away, outside the Kissufim locality."
Just this evening, Defense Minister Naftali Bennett claimed that he had led a policy change in the Gaza Strip, which lowered the number of rocket launches and mortar shells at Israel by 80 percent, but warned Hamas that it would not fire, expecting a "painful spring".
Just yesterday, a security official claimed that Hamas had committed to halting the blowing of balloons from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, saying that if peace continued, Israel would grant Palestinians in the Gaza Strip humanitarian relief, including increasing fishing grounds. However, the official made it clear that the organization's statement will be examined by deeds and not by words.
