Members of the Syrian Armenian community residing in Armenia affirmed that the People's Assembly’s decision to condemn the Armenian genocide at the hands of the Ottoman Empire supports the rights of the Armenian people and contributes to the repression of the oppressor from continuing to commit crimes against peoples.
In a statement to them, the people of the community presented a copy of which Sana received a gratitude and gratitude to the People’s Assembly in the Syrian Arab Republic for issuing the decision expressing their pride in him because he condemned the Ottoman Empire, which had been committing its continuing crimes against other peoples since the beginning of the twentieth century until today.
The people of the community expressed their hope that the Arab parliaments would follow the example of Syria by condemning the massacre and recognizing it, which affirms and restores the dignities of the people and repels every unjust.
The people of the community extended a greeting of love and appreciation to Syria, its leadership, its people, and its army, which were victorious over the line of fire, defending the dignity of the entire Arab nation and making sacrifices in order to enjoy freedom and dignity.
