50 senior citizens took part in the "Rolling Citizens' Meeting" through Haimhausen.

Haimhausen - A bus tour with the mayor - almost 50 senior citizens from the municipality of Haimhausen accepted this offer and had an informative and entertaining afternoon with Peter Felbermeier. Some local councilors also participated. This time, the "Rolling Citizens' Meeting" led to the Inhauser Moos construction area, to the Amperberg, to the planned housing construction on Schrammerweg, to the new culture and education center on the school premises and to the possible locations for the replacement of the high-voltage line.

Felbermeier explained to the audience that there is the option of a north and a south route when it comes to high-voltage power lines. In both cases, the municipality would not incur any costs, since these would be borne by the federal government. Contrary to what was partially heard and read, there was no building application, but only a so-called “spatial planning procedure”. There is no public participation and no objection period. But the community would very well bring in the citizens' will, the Felbermeier promised.

A new high-voltage line could not be avoided, explained Felbermeier, because the "capacities are not sufficient". Simply replacing the cables in the same place is not possible either. "That will still occupy many lawyers," announced the mayor. The southern route is "highly sensitive" from the landscape area, Felbermeier explained to the seniors, because it was a low moor area where theoretically you could even peat peat. The northern route, on the other hand, would "massively limit the development opportunities", whereas the municipality would complain, Felbermeier announced. In the southern variant, however, he suspects complaints from environmental groups.

The new masts are definitely larger than the current ones, announced Felbermeier - whether on the north or south route. It was still necessary to check whether the lines could be laid underground. "A trench 100 meters wide is necessary," said Felbermeier. In summary, the head of the community held the prospect that one had to decide that "most people would not be touched". With all parties in the municipal council, one will look for the best possible solution.

The bus ride then led to the new construction area "Inhauser Moos". Directly behind the sports home will be built on the left and right of Birkenweg. 55 percent of the land remains with the owners, 45 percent goes to the municipality, which wants to build residential buildings there on a local model and on a lease. Felbermeier emphasized that in general for all construction projects in the municipality “the property owners are benevolent in the municipality's public building measures”.

This also applies to the planned housing construction on Schrammerweg, the next station of the "Rolling Citizens' Meeting". Two to four-room apartments will be built here in three buildings. The community does not want to "skim off any profits", as Peter Felbermeier explained. The municipal council could only turn the "price screw on land", which should not cost more than ten euros per square meter. However, it will take about 21 months to complete, the head of the municipality said.

On the Amperberg, on which the water protection zone was abolished by the Free State of Bavaria in 2001, the mayor announced that "we can do something really great here". Here, too, affordable housing should be created, since the community would have to buy, Felbermeier added. However, agriculture should not be restricted. "We want to make it a citizen participation", Felbermeier gave insight into the plans of the community. "If you do it wisely, we can generate a few million for ourselves," he said.

A highlight was the tour of the new culture and education center in connection with the triple gymnasium on the school premises. Site manager Horst Dieter Pakusch led the participants through the construction site. As of September 2020, there will be 120 seats in the cafeteria alone. The food is cooked every day in your own kitchen, and the goal, according to Felbermeier, is to cook about 500 meals for all facilities in the community in the future. Young people are to be employed as kitchen aids who “have no chance on the free labor market”. The Vhs will also find a new home under modern conditions in the new complex, a joint project between the municipality, school association and sports club. Likewise the village music and the choirs reported Pakusch and Felbermeier. The cabin capacity in the new triple gymnasium is to be doubled. At the end there was coffee and cake in the Amperresidenz Haimhausen.
