More than two decades after the scandal, Bill Clinton said he had oral sex with Monica Lewinsky while he was president of the United States to "control my anxieties . " The information was published exclusively by the Daily Mail newspaper.

The former president made the statements in an interview presented in a new documentary series - Hillary - that will be broadcast on the Hulu streaming platform . There he admitted that when he met Lewinsky in 1995, a White House Fellow, the work pressure was too much, as if he were a boxer who had to go out to fight for 30 rounds and thought: "There is something that will distract you for a while."

In the same series, Hillary Clinton revealed that, after the scandal, the couple underwent a "painful" marriage therapy.

The Hillary Clinton series will premiere on Friday, March 6.

Clinton apologized to Lewinsky in the documentary that will premiere this Friday 6 and said he feels "terrible" because that sexual harassment of her marked his life. The series marks extraordinary access to the Clintons' intimate circle and Hillary's life from his student days to losing the 2016 elections to Donald Trump.

She explained that she agreed with the documentary "because I'm not running for anything." When Clinton was asked why he risked his family and his country for the affair, he said he didn't think about those things when he cheated on his wife.

The last time the former president had spoken about the scandal was in 2018 and on that occasion he said he would not apologize to Lewinsky, something he now did.

Lewinsky was 22 when in 1995 he went to work as a fellow at the White House, after which he began an emotional relationship with Clinton, 49. In 2014, she had hinted during an interview with Vanity Fair to have had "suicidal temptations" for the "shame and fear" suffered.

In the documentary they interviewed Hillary Clinton for 35 hours as well as many members of her team that integrated the 2016 campaign. Donald Trump was not invited to participate.
