Prime Minister Netanyahu said this following the announcement by Israel Beitano that at a faction meeting held today, it was decided that the faction would work to promote two laws: one that would limit the presidency to only two terms, and the other to prevent a Knesset member under indictment from being nominated for government.

Earlier this evening, the official results of the latest election campaign were released, with the right-wing bloc having 58 seats, while the left-wing holding 55 seats, including those of the Arab parties. Now, the center-left bloc is examining the possibility of joining our home to the list of MKs Gantz's recommendations for forming a government, supporting MKs from the joint list and avoiding the BLD faction, so that a blue-and-white chairman will form a block of 59 supporters.
