The unity of the camp around the four-day strike against the rise in retentions today had a crack. It is that the Argentine Agrarian Federation, after an extensive and intense internal debate among its bases, left its members free of action to adopt the measure they deem appropriate.

"The Argentine Agrarian Federation understands that among its representatives there are different positions, which is why so far our entity has not had an official position before the announced cessation of commercialization," they said Friday in an official statement.

To avoid an internal breakdown and preserve the unity of the entity that President Carlos Achetoni, the FFA announced that "it leaves its bases free of action before the strike called for next Monday."

Adherence to the strike called by the Liaison Bureau had generated internal disputes within the entity that brings together small and medium-sized rural producers.

The referents of the entity Bases Federadas , Omar Príncipe and Jorge Solmi, said they were not consulted by the measure. "The entity has not convened any organic instance to join the proposed CRA strike," they launched.

"This has been a solitary decision of desk and air conditioning," they launched, doubling the bet calling the FFA leadership to be far from its bases. And they added: "The 14 points of the Liaison Committee does not represent us, nor do we feel represented by the protest."

Eduardo Buzzi, former head of the organization of ruralists during the conflict of 125 in 2008, also faced the decision to fold the cessation of marketing. "The decision to go to unemployment is unfortunate , " he said.

These internal noises today led to a new positioning of the FFA: "The sector resists no more tax burden and although we highlight the segmentation achieved as a public policy, it does not represent the spirit of curbing uprooting and that more producers remain outside the system productive, "they said.

And they added: "We understand that our sector needs a broader differential treatment than the one offered. As well as the creation of a Development Fund for Regional Economies, which are in a terminal situation."
