The unity of the camp around the four-day strike against the rise in retentions today had a crack. It is that the Argentine Agrarian Federation, after an extensive and intense internal debate among its bases, left its members free of action to adopt the measure they deem appropriate.
"The Argentine Agrarian Federation understands that among its representatives there are different positions, which is why so far our entity has not had an official position before the announced cessation of commercialization," they said Friday in an official statement.
To avoid an internal breakdown and preserve the unity of the entity that President Carlos Achetoni, the FFA announced that "it leaves its bases free of action before the strike called for next Monday."
