District candidate for the Greens: Christoph Nadler

For the Greens in the Munich district, Christoph Nadler enters the ring as a candidate for the office of district administrator. The 63-year-old Taufkirchner has been active in local politics for decades. The district of Munich also wanted to benefit from the “green wave” on which the country has been surfing since the people's request for species extinction and the Fridays for Future movement. Nadler also focuses primarily on climate, energy and mobility issues. He has seen this clearly neglected in recent years. “Not only is there a lack of staff, but also the political will. As district administrator, I will end this long standstill, ”said Nadler.

District candidate for free voters: Otto Bußjäger

The free voters in the Munich district also rely on the tried and tested: As was the case six years ago, Otto Bußjäger will fight for the office of district administrator for the free voters. The 48-year-old from Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn sees the FW faction as the clock in the district council. The aim now is to get more votes in the 2020 local elections than in 2014 in order to be able to expand this even further. The candidacy for the free voters was highly competitive. Bußjäger could not prevail against his opponent Nikolas Kraus with the overwhelming majority with which the candidates of the other parties determined the pre-selection for themselves.
