Today, the international route, Hama Aleppo, was opened in the area of Marahatat after the dirt berms and barriers erected by the Turkish occupation forces were removed at the so-called Turkish point.
A SANA reporter stated that the transportation methods started the international road in the region after the dirt berms and barriers erected by the Turkish occupation soldiers on the road in the town of Marathat between Khan Sheikhoun and Maarat al-Numan were removed, indicating that a number of Turkish soldiers are still occupying some civilian homes in the town.
The means of transportation had to use a secondary road of approximately 12 km to bypass the town of Marathat and return to the international road again due to the presence of earthen mounds and barriers erected by Turkish occupation soldiers.
