"I have been a donor for many years but an answer like this was for years that I had not seen it: in times of need Naples always shows that it has a big heart". To speak is Lucia, an employee of the Cardarelli hospital in Naples who this morning went, together with many other people, to the transfusion center of the AORN Cardarelli for an extraordinary sample.

"Almost all of them had masks and the minimum distances were respected," says Lucia who replied, like many others, to the appeal launched by the largest hospital in the South in which, due to the coronavirus emergency, she was registering complaining a abrupt case of donations, so important as to put at risk the health of patients, including pediatrics, who need daily blood transfusions. "The workers are holding back over working hours - says Lucia - to welcome the solidarity of those who don't forget their neighbors".
