For their part, they benefited from the general pro-green trend and grew strongly. The faction grows from three to five seats. And is as big as that of the free voters.

The SPD had to give up. Three social democrats move into the new council. New in the league: Florian Delonge, the chairman of the Free Democrats.
The future Markt Schwaben has won a seat after a committed election campaign. Mayor candidate Sascha Hertel, who has failed for the second time, is back in the market town council. At his side Ronny Schreib and ZMS chairman Wolfgang Korda. The latter is something like the "Attack Department" of the electoral community and thus a guarantee that things will get livelier in the local council than before.

What else caught your eye? After all, three women with the Christian Social, including the local chairwoman Walentina Dahms and the FU local director Heidi Müller. Peter Fleischer and Hermann Bogenrieder, however, could not make it anymore. The three previous Green Councils were all re-elected. In the future, they will be supported by the Green Mayor candidate Raphael Brandes and Alessandra Neumüller.
