Steinhöringer voters rely on well-known names. Apparently, the Steinhöringer councils did not do their job badly from the citizens' perspective.
Steinhöring - A huge surprise: Martina Lietsch (55), so far 2nd mayor, grabbed the executive chair in Steinhöring in the first ballot. The popular administrative employee won almost 60 percent of the votes - despite three other applicants. A bitter defeat for the CSU: its candidate, the long-favorite fire fighter Christian Schächer, only got a good 24 percent of the vote - and this by no means led to the runoff election in Steinhöring. The two other applicants Caren Lipp (citizen list) and Robert Wagner (PWG) also had no chance.

"I still can't believe it," cheers Martina Lietsch, who started with the newly founded Freie Liste Steinhöring (FLS). With her as the top candidate, her list was able to secure four seats on the local council. Six seats remain for the CSU, four seats for the PWG and two seats for the Citizens List in the new municipal council.
Apparently the Steinhöringer councils did not do their job badly from the citizens' perspective. Most were re-elected. In particular, Wolfgang Bierwirth from the PWG stands out, who voted the voters from list place 14 to the second place in his group.
"I hope that the cooperation in the Steinhöringen municipal council remains as good as it was," says the prospective mayor.

PWG: Willi Slowaczek (1388, LP 3), Wolfgang Bierwirth (942, LP 14), Robert Wagner (920, LP 1), Max Stabernak (872, LP 2). Citizens list: Caren Lipp (586, LP 1), Thomas Grundmann von Holly (465, LP 4).
FLS: Barbara Schütze (740, LP 3), Peter Maier (689, LP 4) Vitus Lietsch (602, LP 12), Ulrich Böhm (597, LP 8).
