Zorneding - The quick reports on the local council election revealed that the Greens, FDP and Left were able to gain one seat each, while the CSU, SPD and free voters each lost one seat.

Zorneding: CSU strongest force

Overall, the CSU is the strongest with 33.6 percent, followed by the Greens with 25 percent, the free voters with 16.2 percent, the SPD with 12.7 percent, the FDP with 10 percent and the left with 2.6 percent.

In the future, the CSU will have seven instead of eight seats on the local council. Renate Pfluger, Stefanie Berndlmeier, Ferdinand Glasl, Stephanie Mannl, Robert Strobl, Patrick Eichler and Jutta Sirotek were chosen. Sylvia Boher missed the re-entry, she won only 4.36 percent of the CSU votes and thus came 12th on the CSU list.

Helmut Obermaier, Moritz Dietz and Barbara Weiß are once again on the board of the Greens. In the future they will be supported by Giulia Hillebrand and Stefan Obermaier, so they have a total of five seats. Thomas Heer-Geißlitz, chairman of the "Citizens for Pöring" association, came in 6th and is the first to move up.

Left: Kalnin overtook Ramona Baumgartner

In the past parliamentary term, the Greens had four seats, the fourth member of the parliamentary group was Vincent Kalnin, who then moved to the left. With Kalnin, they now entered the local council for the first time. Kalnin, who had taken second place, overtook Ramona Baumgartner, who also failed as a candidate for mayor.

The future free voters will only have three seats instead of the previous four and will be represented by Franz Lenz, Wilhelm Ficker and Martin Lenz. Hubert Röhrl missed moving back.

The SPD is represented by Bianka Poschenrieder and Marian Nowosad. Nowosad is new to the board, the former SPD municipal councilors Stephan Raabe and Werner Hintze came in third and sixth place on the SPD list: Hintze had been heavily heaped up because he was elected in 16th place.

Local council election: First irritation

Initially, irritation led to the result that 21 instead of 20 municipal council seats were listed, of which three were for the SPD - as many as for the free voters, although they had done a good three percentage points better. Apparently it was a bug in the computer system that needs to be corrected, said Mayor Piet Mayr when asked about development cooperation. Bitter for the SPD and especially for Stephan Raabe, who fell out of the committee.

Peter Pernsteiner, previously FDP lone fighter in the local council, is reinforced by Dr. Siad-Matthias Abdin-Bey, who won 19.4 percent of the FDP votes. Melanie Schaffenroth, who was actually in second place on the list, won only 7.18 percent of the vote, slipping to third place in the FDP and missing the entry into the committee. If you look at the individual results of the 14 Zornedingen voting districts including postal voting districts, the CSU was in the lead in the electoral favor - with the exception of two districts that went to the Greens.
