Many countries of the world have recorded new cases and deaths of the Coronavirus as measures to contain it and reduce its risk around the world escalate.

While the Russian authorities announced the registration of 30 new infections with the new virus Corona in the country during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 93.
In the Spanish region of Catalonia, the region's leader, Kim Tora, announced that medical tests had confirmed his infection with Corona virus and that he would remain subject to self-isolation in a government building, while Per Aragonese, vice-president of the regional government, also confirmed that he was infected with the virus.
Tanzania and Somalia have also announced their first cases.
