The Senate will floor, from Thursday, on the examination of the emergency bill which allows the postponement of the second round of municipal elections. At the same time or almost, and on instructions from the government, the mayors elected or re-elected last Sunday must meet their municipal council, in order to install the local executive. Except that in the midst of a health crisis, and while the French have been subject to strict confinement rules since Tuesday, more and more elected officials refuse to participate in such a meeting, in an enclosed space.
