The official and total number of Corona patients in Russia rose to 147 in the last day. The headquarters for the fight against the spread of COVID-19 virus in the country reported to the news agency on Wednesday.

The previous report was for 114 patients deployed in 15 ropes across Russia. Of the 33 new cases, 31 are in Moscow, one in Tomsk district and another in Novosibirsk region.

According to data from the epidemiological investigation, it has been determined that the new patients have been visiting the countries where the virus has spread over the past two weeks. All those hospitalized are already in solitary confinement after being tested positive.

It was also reported that of the 147 patients, 144 were Russian citizens, two Chinese citizens and one Italian citizen. So far, two Russian citizens and three foreign nationals have recovered.

It should be noted that Russia closed its borders by May 1 for entry of foreign nationals and many institutions across the country were closed according to government directives by mid-April. Russia has also been reported to be restricting outbound flights to the UK, the US and the UAE.

Prime Minister Mikhail Michustin is promoting a bill that will freeze all bankruptcies in Russia. The new law should facilitate the settlement of debts to citizens who are in financial distress because of the corona's consequences.
