Within the framework of the precautionary measures taken by the government to deal with the Corona virus, the Ministry of Interior announced the suspension of work in registering civil status events and granting personal and family cards until the second of next month.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that, out of its concern for the safety of the citizens, it stops work in registering civil status events and granting personal and family cards in the central administration, civil affairs directorates, civil registry secretariats, centers, and people in all governorates until 2-4-2020.
The Ministry pointed out that citizens will be exempt from fines resulting from late registration of events and the granting of personal and family cards for that period.
