The Yemeni army announced today that the missile force units and the running air force have carried out military operations in the Saudi rear, coinciding with the liberation of Al-Jawf Governorate.

Al-Masirah Net website quoted a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, as saying during a press conference today that "the Saudi enemy received painful strikes in response to its escalation of the ground and air military in the battle to liberate al-Jawf."

He explained that the missile force participated in 6 operations in which the "Nakal", "Qasim" and "Badr" ballistic missiles were used, noting that the Air Force carried out 54 operations during the operation, "so possible" of them, including 33 operations targeting several Saudi military and economic targets.

The spokesman emphasized that the operations of the Air Force managed to inflict great losses on the Saudi army and equipment in addition to economic losses due to targeting vital installations related to the oil and gas industry.

"The enemy will not be able to conceal more about the operations of the Air Force, and its direct and indirect repercussions," he said, stressing that the armed forces will reveal in due course the details of the operations that targeted the Saudi depth and the damage inflicted on the military and economic installations.

It was fast announced yesterday that the army and popular committees managed a military operation in which the missile forces and the running air force participated in defeating the forces and mercenaries of the Saudi aggression alliance from Al-Jawf province, killing and capturing hundreds of them.
