On Friday (March 20), eight other people from the Dachau district tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Dachau - The Dachau Health Department announced in its daily report that yesterday eight more people from the Dachau district tested positive for the new type of corona virus. The people come from the city of Dachau and the municipalities of Altomünster, Hebertshausen, Petershausen and Markt Indersdorf. In five cases, these are contact persons for cases that have already been confirmed; in three cases, the infection chains have not yet been finally clarified. "The health office expects the first positive cases in the district to be released from the Corona surveillance regime and quarantine early next week," said District Administrator Stefan Löwl.

Nearly 150 people were tested at the corona virus test center in Indersdorf on Friday. According to press spokesman Wolfgang Reichelt, operations are running smoothly, even if, unfortunately, individual people without an individualized patient code, which must be assigned by the doctor, still had to be rejected. Over 100 people will be tested again on Saturday. Due to the high workload of the laboratories, it can take several days for the test results to be available to the referring doctors.

Due to the exit restrictions, the district office is also reducing its operations: From now on, the recycling centers in the district will be closed until at least April 3. The registration office is only open to dealers or traders after prior notification. For the time being, only online services are available for citizens.

"Due to the exit restrictions applicable throughout Bavaria, leaving your own apartment is only permitted if there are valid reasons," Löwl explains the decisions of the disaster management management group in the district office. "Private concerns in the admissions office or the handing over of the valuable materials are not valid reasons in the sense of the current general decree and do not entitle to leave the apartments."

The other departments in the district office reduce their operations. Urgent concerns can be addressed in writing or electronically to the known addresses.

The citizens' phone number 0 81 31/7 42 50 will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All non-medical questions relating to the corona crisis and the general injunction are answered here. Further, comprehensive information on COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2) and current information can be found at www.landratsamt-dachau.de/coronavirus.
