Despite the arrival of spring, the situation of the homeless and migrants is more than ever worrying. Due to the lack of sufficient personnel, part of which remained confined to the home, reception structures have closed and no longer welcome them. Thousands roam the outskirts of cities, with no accommodation solution. "The problem is that more and more accommodation centers refuse migrants, with staff who massively assert their right of withdrawal," deplores Didier Leschi, director of the French Office for Immigration and integration (Ofii) to the Parisian. Faced with this critical situation, the State, the municipalities and the associations concerned redouble their inventiveness to find solutions. " Our day care centers have closed their doors in order to free up staff to run night accommodation," explains Perrine Dequecker, spokesperson for the social integration association.
