● Ukraine organizes an airlift for its own

Battle in Kiev, where the government launched an operation on March 17 to repatriate Ukrainians abroad. On Tuesday, Ukraine decided to close its borders, banning air access for all foreigners without a residence permit, and lowered the 188-point curtain from the country's 230 road border crossings.
But at the same time, President Volodymyr Zelensky gave the green light to Operation "Drug" ("friend"), the name of a mobile application allowing all Ukrainians traveling to report themselves to the authorities and make a repatriation request. The authorities would like to bring back 35,479 identified nationals, according to the estimate of Vladislav Krykliy, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.
