North Korea has not reported any contamination on its soil, although many South Korean observers believe it may have occurred. Donald Trump has offered North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in this regard assistance from his country in the fight against the pandemic, according to the official press agency KCNA. In South Korea, " the army is monitoring other possible shots and remains on alert, " said the Joint Staff in a statement.

North Korea has stepped up arms tests since November in the absence of progress in the negotiations by which the United States hopes to abandon its nuclear program. Analysts say Pyongyang is gradually refining its capabilities, despite sanctions and convictions.
