At the same time, MVG is asking its customers to avoid avoidable trips.
From Monday, March 23, the transport companies will adjust their modified offer on the underground . Although the number of passengers has already halved, there are still individual trips with higher demand. This applies in particular to the U3 at certain times, which has been running every 10 minutes since March 16. The trains are usually too full, so it is not possible to keep a good distance.

In order to remedy this and to respond to corresponding passenger complaints, depending on the availability of personnel during rush hour, individual additional trips are offered. Trains are used on the basis of current passenger counts. In addition, the amplifier line U7 will run between Sendlinger Tor and Rotkreuzplatz from Monday.
As already reported, all doors in buses, subways and trams are opened automatically if this is technically possible. This means that no passenger has to press the door opener. However, the first bus door remains closed to increase the distance between passengers and drivers.
