The Ministry of Interior announced the closure of all crossings to the movement of people from Lebanon, as part of measures to tackle the Corona virus.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the decision includes Syrian citizens and it will come into effect from midnight on 23/03/2020 until further notice.
The decision excluded freight cars, with drivers subjected to the necessary medical checks at border posts.
The Ministry also announced that the Kassab crossing will be closed from 12 noon tomorrow until further notice.
