A bizarre arson in Sheung Wan. A fire broke out in Hollywood Road Park and a nearby gallery within 10 minutes this morning (23). It was reported that there was an explosion. The fire arrived and found up to 4 fire heads. A team of smoke caps and a hose were used to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties or need to be evacuated in the fire. However, there were street sundries and chairs and stools in four places.

About 10 minutes later, while the fire was still under investigation in the park, a patio in a gallery at 254 Hollywood Road, dozens of meters away, was also reported to have suddenly caught fire, sending out heavy smoke. The fire immediately arrived and put out the fire. After investigation, it was believed that both cases were suspicious. The police classified them as "arson" and combined investigations.

According to the scene, during the rescue at the gallery, the fire and police found a suspicious barefoot man burning the pictorial. He was incoherent and suspected that his spirit was different. After investigation, the police believed that he was a Taiwanese. The gallery was set up by him, and the purpose of burning the painting was to "purify Hong Kong". Some nearby residents even pointed out that yesterday (22nd) they had seen the gallery patio fire. Since the incident coincided with the time, distance and tactics of the arson case in the park, the police did not rule out the related parties. The man was subsequently arrested and taken to the Department for investigation.
