Under heavy pressure with the spread of the coronavirus, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced Sunday that it was giving itself a four-week window to assess whether the Olympic Games could be held as scheduled in July in Tokyo. The IOC said in a letter to the athletes that it would work with the Japanese authorities to make a final decision within a month.
