The daily reading of statistics on the development of the epidemic in Germany intrigues public health specialists. Why is the death rate so low across the Rhine in patients infected with coronavirus? According to the latest assessment from John Hopkins University published Tuesday, 130 Germans died - against 860 in France and 6,077 in Italy - while the number of contaminations is often higher (30,000 against 20,149 in France). Reported to the population of the country, the coronavirus appears very little morbid across the Rhine. Thus, Germany counts for 10,000 inhabitants, 1.5 deaths, against 101 in Italy, 49 in Spain and 13 in France.
