Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed in a telephone conversation with his Algerian counterpart Sabri Bogadom the cooperation between the two countries in the field of fighting the Corona virus.
A statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry issued in the wake of the phone call today, according to what was reported by Russia Today, said that issues of cooperation between Russia and Algeria in combating the Coruna virus epidemic were discussed, including the possibility of providing assistance in this regard from the Russian side.
The statement added that the talk also addressed some issues related to the development of multi-faceted Russian-Algerian relations, pointing out that the dial was initiated by the Algerian side.
It is reported that Russia had sent its military experts and medical equipment to Italy to help prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
