Meanwhile, in Florida, the Dutch America shipping company is trying to convince the governor of the state to give two of the company's ships on which Corona patients are and even die to dock at the various ports. But Governor Ron Santis said in an interview with Fox News: "The very mooring of the ship, which is home to non-Florida patients, means allocating resources to come at the expense of our residents and we can't afford it."

Dozens of people on one of the ships were also reported to have developed flu-like symptoms, suggesting they may be sick in Corona, and four others died.
