US President Donald Trump expected that the next two weeks would be more severe for the United States of America due to the outbreak of the Corona virus and that America would witness many deaths as a result.
Trump was quoted by US media as telling a news conference that he would involve thousands of soldiers and armed forces elements in the fight against the pandemic, adding that 1,000 new elements would be deployed in New York City alone.
Trump added that he does not want to continue the closure of public life and the economy for many months, stressing the need to re-open the United States and supply resources to fight the virus in light of the continuing shortage of medical equipment.
Joe Biden, a former US vice president and likely candidate for the next US presidency, confirmed earlier today that Trump is the worst US president to deal with health crises, in reference to the emerging Corona virus crisis that has turned into a global pandemic.
The number of those infected with the new Corona virus, which turned into a global epidemic, exceeded one million and 140 thousand infected, among them more than 61 thousand deaths, while more than 236 thousand people recovered. Deaths, followed by Spain in second place with 124 thousand injured and more than 11 thousand deaths, then Italy in third place with more than 119 thousand injuries and more than 14 thousand deaths according to statistics today.
