UK: 5 year old boy dies from Corona | Israel today

Child is one of 637 virus victims in the last day in England • Coronary patients mortality rate - 50%

Since the beginning of the corona eruption in China, it has been claimed that the virus is especially deadly in older people, while in children the mortality rate is very low. In England, however, a 5-year-old boy died on Saturday after being diagnosed with a corona patient, the state's National Health Service said.

The boy is one of 637 residents of England who died last day of the virus. In all, 3,939 people died in England. In Wales, 13 people died (154 in total), in Northern Ireland - eight (56 in total), and in Scotland - 46 (172 in total).

In the UK, 708 people died within a day, and the death toll rose to 4,313. The London Ministry of Health has updated the number of diagnosed patients to 41,903. In total, 183,190 corona tests have been performed in the UK to date.

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, the results of an ICNARC test and research center (ICNARC), published today, found that the mortality rate of coronary patients admitted to ICU was about 50%. The center used a sample of 2,249 patients, with 690 of the cases being terminated. Of those terminated, 346 died (50.1%) and 344 were discharged. Alongside this, 1,559 are still severely hospitalized.

For comparison, from 2019-2017, 22.4% of those hospitalized with viral pneumonia in the ICU in the UK died from the disease.
