Coronavirus: procession in Chieti, Christ detaches himself from the cross THE VIDEO

The arms of Christ who suddenly detach themselves from the cross that the archbishop is carrying, alone, in the solitary procession of Good Friday. It happened on Friday evening in Chieti. Archbishop Bruno Forte had recently left the Regional Seminary, in whose chapel he celebrated Holy Mass, when, walking a few tens of meters along Corso Marrucino, the Christ turned upside down, remaining anchored only with the lower part of the cross . Forte at that point he stopped, continuing to hold the cross, and the only priest who accompanied him intervened, succeeding after a couple of attempts to fix the small statue of Christ on the cross again. Forte thus resumed the procession, '' escorted '' by two policemen in full uniform, up to the churchyard of the cathedral of San Giustino.
