In Iraq, while the American army has withdrawn from several bases and the virus has killed its first among the local forces, Daesh has just claimed ten attacks in two days against the police, the army and Shiite militias in the regions of Al Anbar, Dyala, Salahaddine and Kirkuk. On the other side of the border, in Syria, jihadists launched Thursday several operations against the troops loyal to Bashar al-Assad, near Al Sourkhna in the east of the country.

Daesh does not hide to urge its fighters to " attack, weaken" "the infidels ", and take advantage of the health crisis to " show no sign of pity " towards its enemies on which " the pressure must redouble ". This was the main message disseminated last week by Al-Naba, one of the publications of the organization Islamic State (IS), defeated territorially in spring 2019, but which retains undeniable nuisance capacities, in Syria and Iraq in particular.
