The countries that recorded the largest number of new deaths within 24 hours are the United States with 2,064 deaths, France with 987 deaths, and Britain 980 deaths.

And Italy, which recorded the first death associated with the virus in late February, recorded a total of 18,849 deaths out of 147577 cases, 570 deaths and 3,951 new infections were announced, while 30,455 people recovered.

The most affected countries after Italy are the United States, where 1,8002 out of 484,690 injuries died, then Spain with 15,843 deaths out of 15,7022 injuries, France with 13,197 deaths out of 124,869 injuries, and Britain 8,958 deaths out of 73,758 injuries.

The United States has recorded the highest cumulative total of injuries, according to official figures, with 484,690 injuries, including 2,755 people who recovered.

The death toll reached 70,270 deaths out of 858,722 injuries in Europe, 18,581 deaths out of 508,536 injuries in the United States and Canada, 4,621 deaths out of 131293 injuries in Asia, 4,503 deaths out of 92,743 injuries in the Middle East, 2131 deaths out of 53632 injuries in Latin America and the Caribbean, and 691 deaths from Out of 12,699 injuries in Africa and 62 deaths out of 7,386 injuries in Oceania.

For its part, South Sudan announced its first HIV-related death on its soil, and Yemen also announced its first HIV infection.
