In his message on the occasion of the glorious Easter, Patriarch Al-Absi indicated that during the Corona crisis, countries refrained from assisting other countries in urgent need because they did not follow their path or do not follow their orders, adding: “We saw individuals running to be monopolized with life things as if others had no right to live and live.” .
The Patriarch Al-Absi expressed his sorrow for holding feasts and prayers in light of the absence of people from the churches due to the difficult days in which the world is living due to the spread of the Corona epidemic, pointing to the necessity of confining congratulations and greetings on the occasion of the holiday to phone calls and social media.
Patriarch Al-Absi stressed that this crisis will pass and the churches will return to open their doors for those who are eager to pray in it, calling for the restoration of relations between people and between peoples and for trust among them, forgiveness and burial of conflicts and disputes.
The Patriarch Al-Absi said that we are praying today that the pandemic of corona will not last for the sake of healing the injured and the mercy of those who have fallen asleep and for all those who have come to fend off the imminent danger from doctors, nurses, scientists, stakeholders, technicians, institutions, governments, officials and others that God bless their work for our country and for the world to be able All of it is to overcome the epidemic by joint and concerted action with one heart and one determination, adding: “We pray for peace, peace, stability and prosperity to be found in all our countries, and peace and justice will prevail in the world.”
