A number of countries have announced new HIV infections and deaths, despite measures taken to try to curb the outbreak.
In Turkey, the health authorities announced the registration of 97 new deaths, bringing the total to 1198, while the number of people infected with the virus during the past 24 hours increased by 4,789 to a total of 56,956.
In South Africa, the number of Corona virus infections rose to 2,173 cases, and the South African Ministry of Health said that the country registered 145 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the number of people infected to 2,173 people without mentioning any new deaths, which until yesterday reached 25 cases.
In Morocco, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced that 116 new cases of Corona epidemic were recorded during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 1661, including 177 cures, in addition to 5 deaths, for a total of 118 cases.
As for Egypt, today it recorded 13 new deaths from the newly created Corona virus, as well as 126 new cases, with a total of 2065 cases, among them 447 cases of similar recovery and 159 deaths.
In Sudan, the health authorities announced today a ban on the transfer of all passengers on roads between cities and the application of emergency laws to ensure adherence to measures aimed at stemming the spread of the new Corona virus.
In Jordan, the Jordanian government extended the closure of government agencies, schools, and universities until the end of this month in an attempt to stem the spread of the Corona virus.
Jordan has recorded 389 cases of coronavirus and seven deaths to date.
