A number of the mercenaries of the Saudi aggression were killed and others were injured, as the Yemeni army and the popular committees confronted today an attempt to infiltrate them towards the Rashah area near Najran.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, confirmed in a statement that the army and the people's committees responded to a large-scale attack that continued from the morning until this afternoon launched by the mercenaries, explaining that the enemy had sustained heavy losses and a number of dead and wounded in its ranks.
Sari said that the aggression launched twelve air strikes during the past six hours, which were distributed in separate areas, including five raids on Khob and Al Sha`f in Al-Jawf Governorate and seven over the Sarwah District in Marib Governorate.
It was fast, he said earlier today that the army and the popular committees had responded to three attempts to provide mercenaries in the Qaniya front in Al-Bayda governorate and the Sorouh district of Marib, where they were confronted and suffered heavy losses.
