Just before Benny Gantz's term of office was finalized, the right-wing bloc grew to 59 MKs. This happened after the announcement by Gesher Chairman MK Orly Levy about joining the Netanyahu-supported bloc. What is he really thinking about the talks that are currently underway with Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz to form a unity government with a rotation: take Gantz down on his knees or toss him and turn in other directions.

Since the election results were published, Benny Gantz's condition has only worsened. His party broke down into three parts, his bloc partners such as Zvika Hauser, Yoaz Handel, Amir Peretz and Itzik Shmuli, removed the veto cast on a joint session under Netanyahu, and it appears that a run for elections now will completely devour the cards for some of them who remain homeless and others who broke away from their promises. Work against Gantz and directly benefit Netanyahu's situation.

While that does not guarantee Netanyahu a government, he still does not have 61, but his situation is now better than a month ago, and certainly better than Gantz's situation after the previous elections, in which he ended the Knesset party, but without any capacity to form a government.

Last time, Gantz demanded that the president of the state accept the mandate after Netanyahu. Despite being far from 61 recommenders, Rivlin decided to grant Gantz the mandate against equality. Now, after Gantz's apparent failure, Rivlin would have no choice but to grant the mandate to Netanyahu, whose condition is better than Gantz's then and now.

It is unclear why she would rush to the Rivlin Road when he announced that after Gantz, the mandate would not be imposed on anyone but passed to the Knesset, and it was better for the President to act restraint these days and not act on revenge and hate motives, at least when he cannot justify his actions for any other reason.

Although Netanyahu does not have the number of advisers he needs now, the Knesset now consists of party shrapnel, no doubt that his work is easier than before. It does not guarantee success but does not justify the decision to skip it.
