In the shadow of the Corona crisis, the food industry continues to introduce surprising innovations • A new venture of "Delivery" and "Gett" offers its customers food deliveries from remote locations

New competitor to "wolt" and "bite." The website "Delivery" and Gett Deliberi announced on Sunday that they are entering the food delivery market with an attractive service that will allow customers, they say, to order delivery from restaurants that are more than four miles (the range of deliveries common to competitors).

The shipping cost to the consumer up to 2 km ranges from free shipping to NIS 10, depending on the order height, with each additional kilometer costing NIS 4. The new delivery service supports restaurants in Tel Aviv, for errands in the city and abroad. Like Rishon LeZion or Herzliya, they can order from restaurants in Tel Aviv, and the service will soon be expanded to support restaurants in other cities.

With a view to attracting restaurants to them as well, the new venture offers the possibility of reducing the cost of deliveries to restaurants up to 10%, half of the percentages charged by competing companies.

According to Daniel Rahamim, Managing Director of Delivery: "In the new service we launched, we reduced the cost of the restaurant in a graded manner according to the shipping height to 10% of the order height. This has allowed restaurants to earn more and we are confident that the end-of-day move will also benefit the end consumer. "
