Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump on Sunday discussed oil production cuts and strategic security issues.
The Russia website today quoted the Kremlin as saying that during the call, Putin and Trump continued exchanging views on the situation in oil markets, as they "reaffirmed the great importance of the agreement reached within the OPEC Plus group on reducing oil production."
The Kremlin added that the Russian and American presidents also discussed "vital issues of ensuring strategic security."
The call was made after "OPEC Plus" reached an agreement to reduce oil production by 9.7 million barrels per day.
