The Italian authorities announced that 602 deaths and 2972 new cases of Corona virus are recorded today, bringing the total deaths to 21067 and 162488 infections, the lowest daily rate of infection since the 13 of last March.
Reuters quoted the Italian Civil Defense Authority as saying that the death rate from the pandemic rose slightly during the past 24 hours, as this indicator yesterday was 566 deaths, while the daily increase in the number of injuries showed a slight slowdown, as the number of new cases reached the level of 3153 cases yesterday.
The authority added that 3,186 patients are in intensive care departments, compared to 3,260 people yesterday, and Italy today is ranked second in the world in terms of the number of deaths due to Corona after the United States and third in terms of the number of injuries after the United States and Spain.
In turn, the health authorities in the Netherlands announced today the registration of 868 new infections with the Coruna virus, making the total number of infections 27,419.
The Dutch National Institute of Health and Environment said in a statement on its website that 122 new deaths were recorded, taking the total death toll to 2945, indicating that the number of those currently undergoing treatment in medical centers reached 8939 injured after 210 injuries were hospitalized.
In the same context, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced the registration of 107 deaths and 4,062 new cases of Corona virus during the last 24 hours, bringing the deaths to 1403 and the infections to 65,111.
The Minister of Health System, Fakhruddin Kuja, said that confirmed cases of coronavirus in Turkey increased by 4062 during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of infected people in the country to 65,111, pointing out that 107 new deaths were recorded, bringing the number of victims to 1403.
To that Georgia announced today that it will impose general isolation on 4 major cities, including the capital, Tbilisi, for 10 days, starting tomorrow, to reduce the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
