Israeli routes said Tuesday (Tuesday) that the volume of traffic at about 8,500 kilometers of inter-urban roads under their responsibility dropped to about 1% relative to routine, and in fact - the roads are almost empty.

"In Jerusalem and Bnei Brak, the restrictions will remain the same," a police official explains. "Tomorrow, from 19:00 to 02:00, the operation of a grocery store will be banned, with emphasis on bakeries and pastry shops in the supermarket, but this restriction does not apply to localities in the non-Jewish sector."

The official stressed that the bakeries would not be open to the public at all, but deliveries could be made. However, bakeries that open despite the ban from 7 pm to 2 am will be fined NIS 5,000.

According to the same source, police will add policing and checkpoints between the cities to prevent residents from moving between the communities and violating the closure regulations. "Tomorrow at 5:00 pm, 9,000-7,000 police will take to the streets to enforce the regulations. There will be 44 roadblocks in each district, and there will be foot patrols around bakeries. We will carry out strict enforcement against the bakeries. We will not allow blatant violations of civilians."

In addition, police will continue to patrol other parks and public spaces, such as forests, to make sure no fundraisers are held. "We will be assisting some 400 city inspectors to enforce," the police official adds. "We understand that we are entering a long weekend and watching crowds. We will be on the ground to enforce the guidelines."

In non-Jewish localities, enforcement of emergency regulations will continue and police will continue to monitor home isolators and adoptive patients. "Headquarters and the 1,400 soldiers who work with us will also be assigned to the mission," the official noted.

He added that "the police have also started down work for exit processes. We will have to change the balance of the investment of the forces and the routine but it will be done down work. We will have to continue to enforce the regulations to be present in places that will open to the public."

According to the police official, there are generally not many active objections to the regulations. "There are events, but they are on the margins," he said. "The police do not record any reports."
