Today, the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced the registration of 22 new infections, the recovery of 49 cases, and the absence of any new deaths in the country with the Corona virus.
A ministry statement indicated that 1756 suspected cases were examined in all specialized laboratories in Iraq during the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated that with the aim of assessing the epidemiological situation in Iraq, effective monitoring activity was implemented in areas of high risk and silent areas where a test was conducted of 5890 models that did not include the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, noting that the total number of models examined since the beginning of the crisis was 45437 models.
In turn, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that 160 new cases of coronavirus were recorded, including two with two foreigners and 14 deaths.
Egyptian health spokesman Khaled Mujahid said that 26 of the injured have been discharged from the isolation hospitals, all of whom are Egyptians, bringing the total of those recovered to 514 to date.
He clarified that the number of cases whose laboratory results turned from positive to negative rose to 683 cases, including the 514 who recovered, and Mujahid mentioned that the total number of cases that were registered in Egypt with the Corona virus until today was 2350 cases, including 514 were cured and 178 deaths.
In turn, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 75 new cases of Coronavirus, taking the total number of infections to 1,838 cases.
The ministry said that the number of excluded cases amounted to 7771 since the beginning of the virus in the country until this morning, noting that the total number of deaths remained stable at 126 cases, while the total cases of recovery increased to 210, an increase of 7 cases based on the results of dual laboratory analyzes.
In Jordan, Minister of Health Saad Jaber announced that the number of cases of coronavirus in Jordan had risen to 397 after 6 new cases were registered, indicating that 20 cases of recovery had been registered.
For his part, the Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs, Amjad Al-Adayleh, announced today that Jordan announced a comprehensive 48-hour ban starting on Friday night.
Al-Adayleh said in a daily press briefing that "due to the absence of any injury in some governorates of the Kingdom, we will announce this week the first areas in which the curfew procedures will be modified so that entry and exit from them are prohibited as of next week."
In the UAE, there were 412 new cases of Coronavirus and 81 cases of cure.
The UAE news agency WAM reported that the Ministry of Health and Community Protection recorded 412 new infections, bringing the total number of infections to 4,933 cases, and the UAE registered 81 new cases of cure, bringing the total number of those who recovered from the Corona virus to 933 cases.
The UAE Ministry of Health pointed out that the number of examinations carried out during the past 24 hours amounted to 32 thousand examinations, an increase of 10 thousand more than the number announced yesterday.
