Today, Egyptian security forces eliminated all members of a terrorist group in the Amiriya district of Cairo.
The site of the seventh Egyptian day stated that "the anti-terrorist forces of the Ministry of the Interior succeeded in eliminating all terrorist elements in the Amiriyya region," noting that a National Security officer was killed in an exchange of fire between the forces and terrorist elements.
Security sources reported to a SANA correspondent in Cairo that the Egyptian security forces monitored the movements of terrorist elements in the Amiriyya area and took one of the apartments in the Shaheen estate located in the area, denouncing them, indicating that the security forces surrounded the terrorists and clashed with them, which resulted in the elimination of the entire group.
The Egyptian security forces closed the surrounding streets to tighten the siege on terrorist elements and prevented civilians from entering the clashes area.
