According to the interpreter in an Instagram Live report from Unicef Spain, the song is inspired by the situation humanity is experiencing due to the covid-19 and refers to the contrast between the desolate streets of Madrid and the neighboring balconies thanking the health personnel.

“It is a song that when I started to write it, I would suddenly move to the balconies of Madrid, I would move to the solitude of a woman or an older man at home, only receiving the help of neighbors, I would move to those hospitals where All the doctors and health personnel were on the warpath, and so many workers (…) tried to put me in that situation and want to send a hug through the song, ”said Alborán.

"It is a reflection on the moment we are living, on the current situation, to realize that in the end normality was not so normal and then on the other hand it is a message of perspective, of illusion, of tranquility in a certain way, of trust also I think we have completely lost it ”, added the composer.

As a result of the pandemic, Alborán canceled the “Prometo Solidario” charity concert, to be held in Madrid, with which he would not only raise funds for cancer research, but would also signify the official closure of his extensive tour.

Alborán is not the only Spanish artist who has created a song for charitable purposes. The also from Malaga, Vanesa Martín, donated an unpublished song, “Un cato a la vida”, to the Spanish Red Cross for her Responde plan.
